How does ordering coffee with AI work?
From the tablet on your table to the barista's screen: the journey of one order.
Tell the tablet at your table what you'd like, in your own words. Aivo knows you and suggests what suits you; you confirm the cart, and the barista makes your coffee.
The tablet takes orders by voice or by touch. It understands what you want and answers your questions. Nothing that costs money is ordered until you confirm it.
“An oat milk latte and a San Sebastian cheesecake.” Say it, or pick it from the menu.
What you said becomes a cart. It tells you the prices, and if an option you chose changes one, it says so.
The cart waits for your approval. Nothing you haven't confirmed becomes an order.
The order goes straight to the barista's screen and joins the queue.
The tablet speaks Turkish, English, Russian and Arabic. You pick the language; ordering, suggestions and questions carry on in it.
“Yulaf sütlü bir latte, lütfen.”
“An oat milk latte, please.”
«Латте на овсяном молоке, пожалуйста.»
«لاتيه بحليب الشوفان، من فضلك.»
The tablet suggests a drink from the menu and puts a different option next to it. It tells you why, too.
“I'm tired”, “something light”, “something sweet”… One sentence is enough.
What's in it, can it be dairy-free, does it have caffeine? Answers come from the cafe's own menu. For allergens it points you to the barista.
Not quite right? Ask for another suggestion; a new one comes without repeating what you have seen.
Say it or type it. The suggestion starts from how you feel.
A main suggestion, a different option beside it, and how the two differ.
It says briefly why it chose that drink; one tap adds the main pick to your cart.
Suggestions come from drinks we can make right now. With an account, your milk, sweetness and temperature preferences count too.
Up to eight short questions, and a drink recipe takes shape around your taste. It always stays within drinkable limits and explains why it is the way it is. You name it; tap “Add to my menu” and it joins the “Just for you” section of your menu.
For guests with an account.
Hot or iced, how much milk and which (oat, almond, soy, lactose-free…), how strong, regular or decaf, how sweet, which flavour, foam and ice.
The recipe is written in shots, millilitres and pumps; options that would not fit the cup are ruled out up front. The barista makes it step by step.
See what each answer adds and how it differs from the drink on the menu.
Give it a name of 2 to 24 characters. Once saved, the name stays.
The recipe lives in your account; reorder it with one tap at any branch. Up to 10 recipes each.
It takes a minute: type the code from your e-mail into the tablet, no password. After that, the cafe knows you.
We remember you, Emma.
When you sit down, the tablet welcomes you by name.
Your most ordered drink is ready as “your usual”, and you can ask what you ordered before.
Ask it to save preferences such as “always oat milk” or “less sweet”, and later orders use them automatically.
Your own recipes stay in your account, at every branch.
Discounts and gifts will be for members. The first offers are coming soon.
Edit or delete anything saved, any time, from your account.
Calling a waiter, asking for the bill, signing in: all from the same tablet. Takeaway orders have their own screen.

A few minutes each: how ordering works, four languages, suggestions by mood, Coffename, your account and the little things at the table.
From the tablet on your table to the barista's screen: the journey of one order.
You pick the language; the tablet speaks it.
Up to eight questions, a recipe made for you and a name you choose.
Say how you feel; the tablet brings one suggestion from the menu and an alternative.
What it keeps, what it doesn't, and how to delete it.
The tablet's small conveniences: calls, the bill, menu questions and takeaway.
From the tablet on your table to the barista's screen: the journey of one order.
At Aivo, you order from the tablet on your table. Say what you'd like in your own words, or tap it on the menu. The AI turns what you said into a cart, you confirm it, and the order lands on the barista's screen.
Every table has a tablet. “An oat milk latte and a San Sebastian cheesecake” is all it takes. If you'd rather not talk, the menu is on the tablet too; tap to choose. The AI doesn't replace the menu; it makes ordering easier.
What you said becomes a cart on the screen. The tablet tells you the prices, and if an option you chose changes the price, oat milk for example, it says so.
Nothing that costs money is ordered until you confirm it. The AI prepares the cart; you have the last word.
Your confirmed order goes straight to the barista's screen and joins the queue. The barista sees it with its recipe, and the screen shows how long each order has been waiting.
Aivo's AI is not a chatbot. It only talks about the menu, suggestions, orders and the cafe; ask it anything else and it politely returns to the menu.
Drinks at the table come in one size. If you want your coffee to go, the cafe has a separate ordering screen for takeaway, and that is where you choose the size.

You pick the language; the tablet speaks it.
The tablets at Aivo speak Turkish, English, Russian and Arabic. The guest picks the language, and the order, suggestions and menu questions continue in it.
Whichever you say, the same thing goes into the cart: an oat milk latte.
In the language you choose, you order, get a suggestion based on how you feel and ask about the menu: “What's in it?”, “Does it have caffeine?”, “Can it be dairy-free?” The answers come from the cafe's own menu information. When you open an account, the code e-mail also arrives in the language you chose on the tablet.
The language changes; the rules stay the same. Nothing that costs money is ordered until you confirm it, suggestions come only from the Aivo menu, and the order reaches the barista's screen the same way.

Up to eight questions, a recipe made for you and a name you choose.
Coffename is where you create your own drink recipe at Aivo and give it a name. You answer up to eight short questions; the tablet writes a recipe with real measures from your answers, and the barista makes it.
Coffename is for guests with an account. An account opens with a code sent to your e-mail; there is no password. You build the recipe on the tablet's screen.
The questions are chosen from these topics: hot or iced, how much milk and which kind (seven options, including oat, almond, soy and lactose-free), how strong, regular or decaf, how sweet, which flavour (vanilla, caramel, hazelnut, chocolate, white chocolate), foam and ice. Options that would not fit the cup are greyed out.
The recipe is built on a hot or iced Americano, Latte, Mocha or White Mocha, or a hot Cappuccino; there is no Turkish coffee base. The measures are real: 1–3 shots of espresso, milk and water in millilitres, 0–3 pumps of syrup, sauce and ice in grams. The recipe comes in one size: 355 ml hot, 473 ml iced. The system keeps every measure within limits, and the barista follows step-by-step instructions.
Next to the recipe you see what each of your answers adds. The differences from the base drink on the menu are listed too, up to four of them.
Give the recipe a name of 2 to 24 characters; leave it empty and it gets a name like “Coffename 1”. Once saved, the name can't be changed, but you can delete the recipe. Tap “Add to my menu” and it joins the “Just for you” section of your menu.
Your account keeps up to ten recipes. They go with your account to every Aivo branch, and you reorder with one tap.

Say how you feel; the tablet brings one suggestion from the menu and an alternative.
When you can't decide what to drink, just tell the tablet how you feel. One sentence such as “I'm tired”, “something light” or “something sweet” is enough for it to suggest a drink from the menu that suits you.
The tablet picks one main suggestion and at most one alternative from the drinks that can be made right now. It tells you how the alternative differs, so choosing between the two is easy.
Each suggestion comes with a short reason: a few sentences on why it chose that drink. If you like it, the main suggestion goes into the cart with one tap; the order still waits for your confirmation.
Not quite right? Say “Give me another suggestion”. A new one comes without repeating what you have just seen.
You don't need an account for suggestions. If you have one and have saved milk, sweetness, temperature or size preferences, the suggestions take them into account.
Suggestions come only from the Aivo menu. If you need certainty about caffeine, allergens or a diet, ask the barista.

What it keeps, what it doesn't, and how to delete it.
An account at Aivo is optional; you can order without one. Open one and the tablet knows you: it greets you by name, knows your usual and applies the preferences you asked it to save.
Type your e-mail address into the tablet and enter the 6-digit code sent to your e-mail. There is no password; a guest account needs only an e-mail address.
When you sit down, the tablet greets you by name with “We remember you”, and shows how many of your orders it remembers and your usual drink. Your usual is the drink you order most, ordered at least twice.
Preferences are saved only when you ask or tap the save button. In later orders, options you don't mention are filled in from your saved preferences; what you say at the moment always comes first. Ask what you had before and it tells you your last three orders.
If you don't have an account, the tablet remembers you only for that visit.
You can see, edit or delete everything saved from your account. Personal data is processed under Turkey's data protection law (KVKK), and backups are kept encrypted.
Member-only discounts and gifts are on the way. The first offers are coming soon.

The tablet's small conveniences: calls, the bill, menu questions and takeaway.
The tablet on your table isn't only for ordering. You don't have to get up to call a waiter, ask for the bill or ask about the menu.
Call a waiter or ask for the bill from the tablet. If you're sitting in the smoking area, you can ask for an ashtray too. The bill can be split equally when you pay at the till.
The tablet answers questions like “What's in it?”, “Does it have caffeine?” or “Can it be dairy-free?” from the cafe's own menu information. For allergens, it suggests getting a definite answer from the barista.
If you want your coffee to go, the cafe has a separate ordering screen for takeaway. Choose, confirm, pick up your coffee and go.
If you have an account, sign in on the tablet with a code sent to your e-mail. The tablet greets you by name; your Coffename recipes and past orders are waiting.
